well I agree with you that you don’t necessarily need college but if you don’t plan to start your own business and if you have no real knowledge of starting a business then an education might not be a complete waste. Now college is a fuckin? rip in a lot of situations but sometimes it’s a better alternative then working a complete bullshit job.

I majored in 3D Design & Animation in community college, then focused it to a B.A. in Game Art & Design. That’s a good deal of debt, and there are a good deal of things I couldn’t have learned anywhere else. But to be honest, with the advances of technology like youtube,? I could have easily spent a year watching tutorials learning most of what I need. I only got 6 months left though before I realized that, so might as well get the papers.

Your college experience is what you make it to be. 20K is nothing if you get a great education. I’ve grown tremendously thanks to Miami University and? I’ve had two very rewarding internship opportunities. Sure, some of the subjects may not matter to me personally and I’m just “jumping through hoops” but the connections I make and the experiences I go through are definitely worth it.
College is awesome.
